Super Bloom V: Abundance
This is one of five paintings in my Super Bloom Collection, which celebrates the different flowers that grow across the southwestern United States after a good rainy season.
While the other paintings are close-up portraits of the wildflowers, this one zooms out so we can see the broader landscape. The flowers scattered across the undulating hills include California Poppies, Desert Marigolds, Purpletop Verbena, and Arroyo Lupins. This painting was loosely inspired by the multi-colored blooms that can be seen in Carrizo Plain National Monument.
Watercolor on Arches cold-pressed 300 gsm watercolor paper, 2024. Hand-signed by the artist, unframed. Comes with a certificate of authenticity. Framing available for an additional fee, message the artist to discuss. As with any indoor artwork, avoid exposure to direct sunlight. Reproductions may not be made without permission.
11” x 15” image on 12” x 16” paper.
